Diddy ended 2018 on quite a sad note when he broke up with his girlfriend of nearly a decade, Cassie, and the mother of his children, Kim Porter, tragically passed away. Despite the sadness the Bad Boy Records founder was feeling, he kept his head up for his children who he promised to take care of for the sake of Kim. "New life NEW RESPONSIBILITIES. KIM I GOT THIS. Like you taught me!” he wrote.
Diddy has now taken to Instagram to share a video reflecting on his 2018 and explaining his current state. The "I Need A Girl" music maker looks a bit exhausted, to say the least, and his inspirational video is proof that he's holding in there.
"Sometimes you think your purpose is one thing...but life is ever changing. There's levels to this shit, but you gotta redesign and clarify your purpose," he said, as seen in the clip below.
"I had to take a little bit of time off, you know, 2018 was crazy. I took a lot of L's and that's life you know what I'm sayin'. Can't no money or whatever it is stop you from 'catchin' one."
