Everyone loves The Dude. He's back at it again with the video for "One For The Road" off his 2013 album One For The Road, driving around Houston smoking a doobie and vibing out to his tracks. The video also features a fine young lady rolling up Js, sipping on red, eating Cheerios, and watching The Dude videos online.
The song features top-notch production courtesy of Knock City, a straight ahead piano-and-strings beat with some wailing guitar towards the end. There aren't actually any vocals aside from The Dude occasionally crooning "one for the roaaaaaad," thus bringing the beat to the fore. The lack of vocals and emphasis on the production also makes for an unusually meditative audio-visual combo.
