Brampton's Derin Falana has been gaining hype through his work as The Flan, but he's decided to drop the pseudonym and go by his given name from here on in. To announce the change, he's release a new record, "Interstellar," which assures us that Derin's music will continue in the lane he's already carved out.
The track finds Falana in full-on rap-mode throughout, as he vents over a shape-shifting beat that compliments his dynamic delivery as it fades in and out of focus. He sounds more confident than ever, trying out more technical rhyme schemes, and pulling them off effortlessly. Look out for more from him very soon, and check out his 905 mixtape here.
