Derez De'Shon shares a new collaboration with London On Da Track.

We recently heard Derez De'Shon collaborate with Kevin Gates on the TM88-produced "Emotionz," and today he's back with yet another interesting pairing, as he enlists London On Da Track for instrumental work on "American Pie". Like on his previous single, the track finds Derez bringing a fair amount of melody into his rapping, and as he navigates the warm piano chords of London, he channels the spirit of Rich Gang in his catchy hooks that also manage to be very personal and emotionally-charged.

His subtly complex hook (complete with understated backing vocals) should engrave itself in your memory, but the line between chorus is quite grey throughout, with just about every section of the song proving itself hummable.

Quotable Lyrics:
I ain't never had shit
Still sleeping on the floor ain't got a mattress
Don't wanna sell dope no more
Music is my passion
