This summer, we got a couple of records from Derez De'Shon. The promising rapper works frequently with London On Da Track, the mastermind behind Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan's Rich Gang: Tha Tour mixtape, among many other hits, and has supplied the beats for two of Derez' recent tracks. This August, we got "Bullshit" with 600Breezy, as well as "World Is Ours" with K Camp and Ace Hood. Now Derez has dropped a Tupac-inspired solo track called "Ambitionz Of A Ridah."
"You can't deny it, I'm a fuckin' ridah, you don't wanna fuck with me," he raps, riffing on the All Eyez On Me classic. However, he inflects it with some slick melody, filtering the words through Nate Dogg's "Can't Deny It" hook, as well as adding his own personality. London's warm keys bring out Derez' knack for hooks, making the two a winning combination.
