It's been a big 2016 so far for Denzel Curry. The Carol City rapper released Imperial, one of the best projects of the year, and earned a spot in the XXL freshman class. Late Monday night, Curry celebrated America's independence by posting a new track to his SoundCloud called "ULTRA."
Anyone familiar with Curry's music knows his squad runs deep, and he taps Yung Kane, Slikk, Rell, and Nell (who apparently just got out of jail) to join him in rapping over a scintillating beat by his old partner-in-crime Ronny J. Together, they demonstrate the sort of aggression coming out of Florida these days seldom heard in other parts of the country.
