Demi Lovato has yet to break down the events that led to her hospitalization. She has expressed gratitude to her supporters as well as the medical professionals who have helped the singer push through her difficulties this year but Demi has yet to completely open up. While she readies herself for that moment, Lovato insists that some of the stories that have been reported about her simply aren't true.
The "Sober" singer hopped on Twitter to address the matter.
“I love my fans, and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening.”
“Someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today,” she wrote. “But until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up sh-t that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal.”
Demi does not specify which rumors have upset her but confirms that her rehabilitation has been successful.
"I would love to set the record straight on all the rumors out there but I literally don’t owe anyone anything so I’m not going to. All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support.”
