The Sacramento Kings opened the doors to their new home, the Golden 1 Center, earlier this month with a special performance by music legend Paul McCartney. Locking in The Beatles great is about as good as it gets when you're opening a new arena unless of course, you've never even heard of the guy.
According to Arash Markazi, DeMarcus Cousins was asked about the show that celebrated the opening of the Golden 1 Center, and whether or not he was in attendance for McCartney's performance. His response? "I don't even know who that is."
Of course, if someone could've politely reminded Boogie that old Paul is the same guy that Kanye and Rihanna once collaborated with he might've had a different response. Or maybe he's just so focused on the new season (just two weeks away) that he has completely blacked out everything in his brain that doesn't pertain to basketball.
