New Era and Ma Dukes (J Dilla’s mom) have unveiled the full lineup for the upcoming J Dilla Weekend 2016, honoring the late beatmaker and emcee. This is the second J Dilla weekend, after the event in 2015 was deemed a “resounding success” by the organizers. The event will take place in Miami, Florida, at a to be determined venue.

Highlights of the event include performances by De La Soul, Pro Era, DJ Premier, Slum Village, and Royce 5’9”, as well as food, producer panels, art and more. The event will be hosted by J Dilla’s own mother, fondly referred to as Ma Dukes. Check out the full lineup and buy tickets here.

J Dilla, born James Dewitt Yancey, died in 2006. He is survived by mother, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, daughters Ja’Mya Yancey and Ty-Monae Whitlow, and brother, John “Illa J” Yancey. The Dilla archives are still releasing music, so check out Dilla’s most recent posthumous release here.
