According to his SoundCloud account, he's based in Ashville, and he's tagged artists like Post Malone and Russ on the song. From "Zip Code," dawson. definitely bears a resemblance to Post, though he perhaps swings a little closer to R&B than Malone. Bryson Tiller would be an equally apt comparison, and producer Young B. has given dawson some swelling late-night synths to sell the sound pretty well.
