Dawn Richard's Blackheart is one of the most adventurous RnB albums we've heard in a long time, and Richard's new record, "Genocide," fits right in with the unpredictable experiments found on the album. Refusing to sit still, the production shifts from skittering industrial sounds to pulsating synths, but always sounding somewhat skeletal.
This is the second time we've seen Richard bill herself as DΔWN, which is looking like it could be the beginning of an official re-brand for the former Danity Kane singer. Whether or not we see a name change, it's clear that Richard has officially found her lane with her new material.
