XXL made a few controversial selections for this year's freshman cover; Dave East and G Herbo were not among them. Possibly around the time they participated in the cover shoot (in the cover art they wear their freshly minted varsity jackets) they recorded a new song together called "Do It For."
Who do East and Herbo do it for? The answer is multifaceted. They trade cautionary street tales throughout the icy Black Metaphor-produced track. That which does not kill you makes you stronger.
Hopefully this marks the beginning of of a fruitful partnership between East and Herbo.
