This year, Seattle's Dave B has been giving us jam after jam, popping up with a new track at least once a month. "On" arrived in the first week of July, and now he gives us one titled "Do You" to close out the month.

Produced by Stewart Villain, this cut splits the difference between Goldlink-style dance-influenced rap and the horn-led experimentation of Donnie Trumpet and Chance The Rapper's recent material. Washed-out synths, a shape-shifting beat and buoyant horns carry this tune, while Dave himself mimics the beat's change ups with his tireless flow. Let us know what you think of this one.

Quotable Lyrics

I wonder if poppa know I'm poppin' his daughter
She do it for the Tribe, she Midnight Marauder
I taught her more than any professor back at the college
I caught her bein' petty, she finna love me regardless
