The movement of Baltimore's Damond Blue is beginning to take shape in the DMV, which is obvious considering that one of the veteran guards of the scene, Wale, has decided to jump on the remix of Damond's buzzing hit, "Give It to You." The record is now Damond's third collaboration with a major player in the DMV, following "Lemme Talk My Ish," with King Los, and "Keep It 100," featuring Fat Trel. "Give It to You" is produced by Ghost.
Damond's biggest asset is his versatility, and it's impressive to hear him rip off a slick-talking verse right after showing off his R&B vocals on the radio-ready hook. "Give It to You" is a romantic bedroom record that still packs plenty of energy for the club, especially with the addition of Wale's fiery opening verse on the remix.
