Damond Blue's new song "Ride" is, like its title, simple and effective. With a great beat by PyrexTurnMeUp (that little guitar slide at the beginning!), it's about riding around and pulling up in the back, as he says in the song and also on his Twitter:

The song is, as Blue told VIBE, "a dedication to all the blocks everywhere." He, and Moneybagg Yo, both provide solid verses (and a hook) on the subject of: "don't come around here cappin' like you bout dat."

On getting Moneybagg on the song, Blue said, "I thought Moneybagg had the right vibe for the record, and when he was in The A recently he stopped through my session and the final product came out amazing.” The two have a video for the song dropping soon.

To hear the "amazing" final product yourself, see below:

Quotable Lyrics

I like green green, more than a golf course
Gucci on Gucci my n***a, my shades is Tom Ford
These bitches are foolin' ya n***a, and none of em all yours
