Da Mafia 6ix lost founding member Lord Infamous last year, but they've powered through the tragedy and returned doing what they do best-- making the dark, brooding street music they've been cooking up since the 90s. "Payin Top Dolla" like much of the group's underrated 6ix Commandments project, merges classic Three 6 sounds with the current climate of street rap.
The song recruits verses from Fiend and La Chat, and wil serve as the first single from the crew's upcoming mixtape, Hear Sum Evil. Hopefully, somewhere on the project they will reunite with newfound star Juicy J, but they should have things covered in their current form either way.
