Curren$y's "New Jet City" Mixtape To Be Released As A Retail Album

Curren$y plans to re-release his "new Jet City" project as a retail album with new tracks and remixes.

Curren$y just released his Red Eye mixtape earlier today, incorporating a brand new torrent-based strategy. Spitta has now announced plans to switch up his release approach once again, this time liberating his New Jet City mixtape, to be released as a retail album later this year.

Curren$y’s manager, Mousa Hamdan, spoke to XXL about the project, indicating that the official title would be New Jet City: Director’s Cut, and that the album would comprise both old and new material. According to Hamdan, the LP will have “some of the old songs, remixes, as well as some new records," and that the disc is “almost complete.”

No offical release date has been set thus far. Listen to the original tape below.
