Curren$y and his girlfriend first announced that they were expecting a child back in August. The parents to be recently celebrated one of two baby showers with the Jet Life rapper taking to the opportunity to share a few humorous posts of the occasion on his Instagram account. He captioned one of the posts, "Had one shower on her turf having one on mines in a few weeks... and I’m still not wearing a Burberry shirt...Who said that was what soon to be dads had to wear to the shower? Shove it." In another post, he joked about his partner cutting the cake with a spatula.
The rapper has a lot to forward to with the release of his forthcoming project with Freddie Gibbs, Fetti, slated for an October 31st release. The two artists first announced the joint project back in 2017. Last week, Freddie took to his twitter to announce that they had completed work on the project in a time span of only "2 days." When it is finally released, Fetti will be Curren$y's sixth project of the year along with Fire In The Clouds, The Spring Collection EP, Parking Lot Music, and his Henry Fraud collab, The Marina.
