Buffalo rapper Conway is back with the followup to his acclaimed Reject On Steroids mixtape, appropriately titled More Steroids. Conway, who recently inked a deal with Shady Records, has teamed up with longtime Shady associate DJ Green Lantern, who tackles hosting duties this time around. The album contains production from frequent Conway collaborators Daringer, Alchemist, Statik Selektah, Green Lantern and more. As for guests, the project is largely handled by Conway himself, and the sole features are Benny and El Camino. It's a good look for anyone looking for some real street music, as Conway basically personifies the gritty, throwback sound.

As he reminds us on "Killer," he's quick to pull the hammer without hesitation, rapping "this the kind of gangsta shit we on everyday, where I'm from n***as catch they first body and celebrate, let the metal quake, razor in my jaw shit'll shred his face, but that pussy n***a bled a lake." Yikes. If you've been sleeping on Conway, this might be a good starting point. His flow is polished, and his lyrics pick up where legends like Raekwon, Ghostface, Jadakiss, and Styles P left off.

Griselda Records may be relatively new to the game, but they represent an important aspect of the hip-hop movement. There's no repetition or xannies on this one, and Conway has little time for any bullshit. On wax, the rapper cuts an imposing cloth, and More Steroids is a dose of lyrical roid rage that will surely please most hip-hop heads.

While there's no word on when Conway's first Shady Records project will be dropping, you can catch the rapper holding it down on the BET Shady / Griselda cypher. Be sure to check out More Steroids now, and support one of the realest up-and-comers in the game.
