Chicago emcee Consequence has been experiencing a real return to form, and his latest track, "No Matter What," is a promising look for his upcoming EP, A Good Comeback Story. The new track features Q-Tip and is filled with veteran wisdom, even if it's tough to swallow.
Both rappers look back on the days of their reckless youths, knowing that their some of their unlucky peers have experienced lifelong and even fatal consequences for the same naïve actions. There are countless rappers who'll try to boast that they've learned the rules to the game, but, here, Cons and Tip tell it like it is: "the hood never changes, no matter what."
