Lee Daniels confirms Common and Oprah will appear in season two of "Empire."

"Empire" is one of the most-watched first seasons of any TV show ever -- nearly 15 million viewers tuned in for the most recent episode -- and the showrunners are already reloading for season two. Co-creator Lee Daniels told Access Hollywood on Thursday that he'll be writing roles for Oprah Winfrey and Common.

"For absolutely sure. We're gonna have a good time," Daniels said.

This is not the first Common-Oprah news tidbit of 2015; that honor would go to Common's accidental yet legendary snub of Oprah's high-five at the Oscars.

The two-hour season finale of "Empire" airs Wednesday night at 8/7c on Fox.
