Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers will play their final preseason game tonight in San Diego, and Kaep has already announced that he will not be standing for the Anthem. Ironically, tonight is also the Chargers' annual "Salute To The Military" night at Qualcomm Stadium, as if this meaningless pre-season game didn't have enough of a storyline already.

If people weren't happy about Kaep's decision to sit during the national anthem, they'll surely have something to say about the socks that he's been wearing at practices during the pre-season. As spotted at a practice earlier this Summer, Kaepernick's sock depict little pigs dressed as cops.

While some former players like Rodney Harrison and Tiki Barber have already spoken out against Kaepernick's method of protest, many members of the military have stood by his right to sit during the anthem and have started a #VeteransForKaepernick hashtag.

These pig socks have yet to be addressed but since these images have just gone viral today you can bet he'll be questioned about it at some point tonight.

UPDATE: Kaepernick has released a statement regarding the socks which you can read here.
