The 2019 Coachella got off to a riotous start for more reasons than one. As if a scintillating rendition of "Taki Taki" performed by the original cast members (shoutout to DJ Snake) wasn't enough the raise the temperature to an abnormally high level - the Climate Gods, felt left out to the point of pitching their own fiery party once the crowd had dispersed.

At about 2:06 am, a mobile shower unit on festival grounds erupted in flames, creating a cause for alarm for the overnight attendants. Four fire engines were then dispatched from a local fire station, all converging at the center point of the festival's grounds. Thankfully, no one was harmed during the ordeal. A single trailer was burned to a crisp, a second one was lightly damaged.
Coachella open its doors yesterday with a front-loaded lineup of Donald Glover (performing as Childish Gambino) in the headliner position, flanked by the likes of Tame Impala, Ariana Grande, Weezer, Anderson .Paak, Kacey Musgraves, The 1975, Janelle Monae, Pusha T, Rosalia, The Interrupters, and SOB x RBE, to name a few.
