We haven't heard too much from Pro Era's CJ Fly since his 2013 mixtape, Thee Way Eye See It, but every time we do, it's something special. A couple months ago, he hit us with the Devontee-produced record called "Run 2," and today he's back with yet another strong offering.
"Verboten" proves once again that CJ is Pro Era's secret weapon, as he winds elegant double-time around a perfectly springy beat from Sonny Dukes. The track comes in celebration of his 22nd birthday, another sign the rapper is just getting started. We're hoping for another project before the year's out, but we'll just have to wait and see.
