Cifer Crew
t started back in 2007 in downtown Los Angeles with a couch and a freestyle. Originally kicking around ideas with Arizona natives, TruCifer (from the northwest side) had garnered respect by mixing different rhyme styles on anything with a beat. In March 2008, fate would find him linked-up with a house of musicians in a place called "Oakstreet” in Tempe, Arizona. From there he recorded a few songs, worked on collaborations with other colleagues, and generally sought to learn. After a few months of calling Tempe home, Cifer took off for tour, assisting in a childhood friends electro band (J0hnny). Soon after, he landed living in Los Angeles full-time, taking this time to learn even more about production, voice, and music publishing. From there, we hit the future. CiferCrew is an American hip-hop project of TruCifer. Known around Southern California and Arizona for witty and often non-fictional lyrical stabs, the party started in March 2009 to form what you know today as CiferCrew. With showcases and events lined up, as well as a couple well-received releases, this act is the busy one to keep your eyes on."
