Chrissy Teigen (pronounced Tie-gen, it turns out) has been named the one of Glamour's women of the year or, more specifically, the "Unofficial Voice Of Generation Fed Up," a title bound to make "generation fed up" even more fed up. The article praises Teigen for being "relatable" and it's true that she certainly isn't afraid to let down the put-together facade that most celebrities choose to maintain. A good example is when she apologized for throwing up at her daughter's school orientation on Twitter: "hello everyone from Luna’s school orientation today. im sorry I projectile puked caffeine upon arrival, couldn’t open my eyes and had the noisiest newborn in the room. (not a joke, very sorry, see you tomorrow)."

Or when she has the perspective to see the humour in a post such as this:

This down-to-earth quality is more important than it may seem at first, according to Glamour: "When Chrissy Teigen became one of the most relatable people on the internet, she also assumed the role of mouthpiece for an entire generation." Teigen posted a response to her inclusion in Glamour's list on her Instagram, captioning a photo of the magazine's cover:

Honored to be one of Glamour’s Women of the Year amongst other women I admire and adore so much. I’ve never been the most eloquent person and lately I’ve noticed myself going quiet - consumed by the news of the day, and not quite knowing what to say. Or wanting to say something but not really having the mental strength to handle the inevitable backlash. But I end up feeling worse. I want to speak up for those that can’t, for people that feel smaller or less-than because of the big talk of a small man. I PROMISE I am going to do what I can to live up to this title and live up to the bar set by incredible women like Kamala, Viola, Janelle. I am not worthy but I will continue to try to make you laugh, give love through food, and wad the panties of assholes trying to keep you down.
I love you guys and am so appreciative of the platform you have bestowed upon me!! Thank you to @glamourmag for this incredible honor. #glamourWOTY
