Last week, Chrisette Michele gave us a taste of her upcoming album,The Lyricists' Opus, in the form of the track "Super Chris." Today, a video arrives.
Premiered by VIBE, the video shows a dancer doing some interpretive moves to the track's opening guitar strums while Michele sings up against a wall. She name drops Instagram and Twitter, but otherwise this is a decidedly retro affair, with the guitar lick recalling William Bell's '60s classic "I Forgot To Be Your Lover." Horns and strings even join in before the song's over, all combining to give "Super Chris" a super sound.
