Chris Brown, like many other artists, athletes and celebrities, has shown support for Colin Kaepernick's National Anthem protest and applauded him for standing up for what he believes in. Yesterday afternoon, Brown himself was in a situation where he could either sit or stand for the anthem, and he chose the former.
Footage captured at the Power 106 Celebrity basketball game at USC shows Brown sitting during a rendition of the National Anthem, despite the MC urging everyone to stand in honor of 9/11.
Normally this kind of thing would go completely unnoticed but because the National Anthem is such a hot button issue, and because TMZ called Chris Brown out with a headline, "Chris Brown Refuses To Stand For National Anthem... On 9/11," the 27-year old made a point to quickly post about it on his IG.
Additionally, footage also showed Brown arguing with a fan at the charity game on Sunday, though it's unclear if the shouting match was related to his Anthem etiquette.
