When Chinx was cut down in his prime earlier this summer, it was impossible to not think about how similar the circumstances were to the murder of Stack Bundles eight years earlier. Bundles, who Chinx counted as a mentor, also grew up in Far Rockaway, a Queens neighborhood nearby JFK airport, and was shot on his way home one night. Both guys were slain just as their careers were starting to take off, and today, we get a glimpse of what could have been with a posthumous track called "Far Rock."
It's taken from Chinx's Welcome To JFK, which drops on August 14th.
Booty knockin' over tables, that's her ass fault
Touchdown, nigga hit it on the asphalt
Fleet foreign whip came with a passport
Count straps like I'm tryna rub a rash off
