Chevy Woods has been busy in 2016, releasing a track with Sage the Gemini and a freestyle over Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t,” and now we’ve got a four-track EP from the Taylor Gang emcee.
Titled And The Story Goes…, Woods’ news project is a mix of reflection and boasting. He juxtaposes his successes and the trappings of fame with some of the darker moments he’s experienced over the past few years. He raps about losing friends and family members to crime and prison, all while popping bottles and flying cross-country.
Brand New Benz features two NY natives in Styles P and Dave East, the only features on the EP.
