Right in the knick of time, Ludacris has surprised his mother with a full remodelling of her home in a beautiful gesture that precedes Mother's Day.
Teaming up with show My Houzz, the rapper and Fast & Furious franchise star gifted his mother Roberta Shields with a full redocarating of the house that he once called home.
Roberta currently lives in Ludacris' old bachelor pad, but following his move out, the home has practically remained the same.
“When she moved into it, she was wanting to make it her own. But, a lot of the rooms my mother has started on are just incomplete," Ludacris admits.
Teaming up with his wife Eudoxie and designer Rachel Oliver, Ludacris took his old stomping grounds and transformed them into something of an oasis for the woman that started it all.
“I feel like every child wants to do everything they can possibly do for their mom to give back an ounce of what their mother has given them,” he remarked. “This is one step closer.”
Ludacris was also among a cluster of stars who paid tribute to their mothers during VH1's recent Dear Mama special.
