Chaz French drops off a fresh new track called "What Ya Say" feat. Saba, the DC singer not to be confused with the Chicago rapper.
Soulful/mournful choir (James Blake sample?) forms a solid foundation as Chaz urges the listener to take life by the horns. This is the rap equivalent of one of those motivational Nike commercials.
“On Happy Belated we walked through my struggles together, and now I want to walk with others through theirs,” Chaz told The FADER. “On that project I focused on my struggles, where now moving forward I want to concentrate more on getting the mind in tune with the heart to progress for the kids in my city.”
"What Ya Say" will appear on Chaz's upcoming project due out in October.
