L.A.'s Charley Hood is preparing to drop his tape Champ Life on July 24th, and today he's given us a new track from the project. "Body Marked Up" is a slo-mo jam that features pitched-down vocals and a hazy, cloudy instrumental courtesy of Young Blood.
A perfect blend of screwed-up Houston music and old-school Cali G-Funk, "Body Marked Up" is a strong look for Hood, who's signed to the Pushaz Ink label. With a creative lyric about his "body marked up like the subway in Harlem," Charley Hood makes his fondness for tattoos known.
Stay tuned for Champ Life.
