Following news that a group of sacked producers were suing Revolt TV for reverse discrimination, Charlamagne Tha God distanced himself and his show The Breakfast Club from controversy.
"Damn @nydailynews using us for clicks. If the lawsuit says executives @revolttv then why does the headline say "Power 105's The Breakfast Club" we are not named in this lawsuit. Diddy don't pay us enough to have our names slandered like this but anyway WHITE PEOPLE SUING FOR NOT KNOWING THE CULTURE. Is so damn funny to me. I really can't stop laughing #BlackPrivilege," he wrote in the captions to a post explaining the situation.
Five producers over the age of 39 allege that executives at Diddy's Revolt TV treated them unfairly compared to Black employees and fired them because they were old, white and weren't acquainted with African American culture. Revolt TV denies all allegations. The producers worked for the televised version of The Breakfast Club, which is owned by Revolt TV.
