Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard of The New York Giants got married in March and on Mother's Day, they shared that they are expecting their first child together. "Our fairytale continues as we wait for the birth of our baby. Our love grows each day, @sterl_shep3 and I can’t wait to share it with our little one," Chanel captioned a photo on Instagram debuting her baby bump.
This past weekend in Oklahoma, the couple had a baby shower and gender reveal that saw them sitting on a pink couch letting everyone know that it's a girl.

Chanel is due in mid-August that happens to be a crucial time for Sterling and his football schedule, but thankfully he's already talked to his coach to make sure things run smooth. “He was like, ‘We’ll see if we can get you a day off or something,’" he told PEOPLE. “I don’t want to be away from the guys, but that type of stuff, you have to be there for that.”
He added: “I’m super excited about it. On game days, I see guys … they have their babies down there, and it’s a warm feeling when you see that. I’m looking forward to it … I can’t wait.”
