Jeremih Feat. Chance The Rapper
Jeremih surprised us today with the release of his Shlohmo-produced EP No More via Twitter. The singer turns 27-years old today and this is how he chose to celebrate, by giving the fans something new to bump for all those late summer nights. The six-track offering includes previous releases like "Bo Peep" and "No More", as well as an extended cut of "Fuck U All The Time." The lone feature on the EP comes from Chance The Rapper, and is appropriately called "The End" as it closes out the EP.
Fam And The Foolies
Sulaiman Feat. Chance The Rapper
Today we've introducing you to one of the many new faces coming out of the Chi, Sulaiman, a member of the Treated Crew, which also includes rising artists like Mic Terror and G'zus Piece. Today Sulaiman steps into the spotlight with the release of a new 8-track EP, The Mogs, featuring an array of fellow Chicago natives. Among them, Chance The Rapper appears on this highlight "Fam and the Foolies," but you can also find GLC, Gzus Piece, Highlife, Mic Terror, Naledge and more on the EP.
I Am Very Very Lonely
Chance The Rapper
It's been exactly one year since Chance The Rapper's breakthrough mixtape, Acid Rap, took the world by storm and made the rapper into a star. Since then he's worked with James Blake, Skrillex, Justin Bieber, SZA, and more. He's now celebrating the one-year anniversary of his launching pad project with a new track.
Taylor Bennett Feat. King Louie
If Taylor Bennett's style feels familiar to you, it's probably because he's of blood relation to one of the breakout stars of last year. That's right, Taylor is actually the brother of Chance The Rapper, and the resemblance is uncanny, both in appearance and delivery. Despite the similarities, Chance's younger sibling is ready to carve out his own lane in the rap game, and he's shared a new track with Chi-town hero King Louie which establishes him as a rapper to watch.
Chance The Rapper
Last we heard from Chance The MC, he had played a little something live for Tony Touch, which he said he felt was something very important for people to hear. The song was cut off short, and remains without a title (that we know of), although as many astute fans pointed out, it sounded like there could be a J.
LSD (The Hood Internet Remix)
ProbCause Feat. Chance The Rapper
ProbCause's 2013 single "LSD," featuring fellow acid enthusiast Chance The Rapper, has just been remixed by Chicago production team The Hood Internet. Offering some changes from the original's trippy, EDM-influenced beat, they've given the song a more subdued, piano-led instrumental.
Chance The Rapper
Chance The Rapper is on his home studio vibe, and yesterday he dropped a track "Home Studio (Back Up In This Bitch)" which was evidence of that, while his production band The Social Experiment backed him up.
SZA Feat. Chance The Rapper
SZA debuted "Child's Play" live at the Fader Fort last year at SXSW, and now we finally have the official audio. Since then, she's scored a verse from Chance The Rapper, who actually harmonizes with SZA for the final chorus following his 16.
Home Studio (Back Up In This Bitch)
Chance The Rapper Feat. The Social Experiment
Chance The Rapper is back up in this bitch today thanks to his home studio in L.A. (he recently moved there with James Blake and mentioned how he was excited to work on music in their studio). The Chicago native leaked this new track today which is produced by his affiliates in the Social Experiment (comprised of Nico Segal, Nate Fox, and Donnie Trumpet). He threw it up on his Soundcloud page writing, "Made in my Home Studio. Who gon stop me hah?" Indeed.
Save Yourself First (Original 'Life Round Here' Verse)
Chance The Rapper Feat. James Blake
Chance The Rapper's social experiments continue with the offering of this scrapped verse from his first collab with UK musician James Blake, that being a remix of the latter's "Life Round Here". Whether or not the remix will appear on an upcoming project remains to be seen. From Chance himself: "This was the OG idea for me and James' first collaboration... James never liked this verse."
Don't Wait (Remix)
Chance The Rapper
Late last night we saw Chance The Rapper appear on Skrillex's new single "Coast Is Clear" and the Chance features keep coming today, with his remix of singer Mapei's "Don't Wait."
Coast Is Clear
Skrillex Feat. Chance The Rapper
Well here it is! After hearing a preview of this record last month in NYC, we finally get the CDQ version of Skrillex and Chance The Rapper’s newest collab “Coast Is Clear”. The Chicago spitta adds his rhymes over some jazz-inspired production handled by Skrillex. Not the outcome I expected to hear, but probably better. Take a listen for yourself, and let us know if you’re feelin it?
Chuck Inglish Feat. Chance The Rapper
Both halves of the Cool Kids, Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks have been very busy these days.
A Billion Young Feat. Brian Fresco
For those unfamiliar, A Billion Young are an emerging DJ/production duo and band from Chicago, consisting of vocalist Kimberly Lauren, emcee Mike Doan and DJ/producers Snapotorious and Kun. "FRESCO" is their latest offering, featuring Brian Fresco of Chicago's SAVEMONEY crew, which is also home to Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa, as many of you know. Can you dig it?
Fight For You
Pia Mia Feat. Chance The Rapper
The "Divergent" soundtrack sports a few surprising rap collaborations, including tracks from Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala, as well as A$AP Rocky with Gesaffelstein. Another unexpected matchup comes from Pia Mia and Chance The Rapper. Pia got her start on YouTube, and her most noteable moment (at least to the hip hop community) came in a clip of her singing "Hold On, We're Going Home", at the Kardashians' dinner table (at which both Kanye and Drake were present).
Brian Fresco Feat. MC Tree
For those unfamiliar, Brian Fresco is a member of Chicago’s SAVEMONEY crew, which is also home to Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa. "Smile More" is his latest offering, which features guest vocals from MC Tree and additional guitars by Christopher James. If you missed Fresco's Mafioso project when it dropped in May, you can cop it here.
Justin Bieber Feat. Chance The Rapper
As promised, Justin Bieber delivers a new #MusicMondays collaboration (a bit early) with Chicago's Chance The Rapper. Justin continues to show us his more grown side with these weekly singles, and this one's no different over some bouncy production. Is it what you expected? Digging it? You'll be able to cop the track on iTunes at midnight. On a side note, Chance The Rapper was recently named by SPIN as "Rapper Of The Year."
Vic Mensa Feat. Chance The Rapper
Vic Mensa taps one of his more frequent collaborators-- the man behind 2013's arguable mixtape of the year, Chance The Rapper. The Chicago duo trade rhymes over a laid back instrumental, before Vic takes us home with a sung coda; "Every other day is a trip/ another suitcase/ pack my memories in a bag/ inside my suitcase/ take it to the UK" No news on whether the track is attached to an upcoming project.
The Worst Guys
Childish Gambino Feat. Chance The Rapper
'Bino grabs Chance the Rapper for his track "The Worst Guys", off his newly-leaked album "Because The Internet" which drops December 10th. Pre-order the album now on iTunes!
Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire Feat. Chance The Rapper
Bump Untitled, the latest cut from Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire which features Chance The Rapper on the assist. It dropped on Friday, October 4th, 2013. Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire's horizons are broadening with each new release, and Untitled is no exception. It's a worthy addition to a catalogue that has seen much growth since Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire stepped foot in the rap game. We're looking forward to hearing more.
