Chance the Rapper's seven Grammy nominations represented the cherry on top of his triumphant 2016. Well, here's another cherry: Coloring Book was the top album of 2016 on SoundCloud.
SoundCloud shared the news in a retrospective blog post published Thursday morning. They crowned Coloring Book based on "indicators and actions you’ve taken on SoundCloud including your streams, likes, reposts and shares."
The post revealed that Lil Uzi Vert wast SoundCloud's most followed artist of 2016 and Desiigner's "Panda" was the favorite track of the year. London, Los Angeles, New York, Hanoi, Cairo, and Berlin were among the top cities "driving creativity" on the site. Read the full post here.
