Last night, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry won his second consecutive NBA MVP award. He became the first player ever to win the award in a unanimous vote, something greats like Bill Russell, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan never achieved. In honor of Steph Curry’s dominance, the NBA put together a fantastic highlight reel of Curry’s entire career.
The career mixtape might more accurately be called a life mixtape, as it starts all the way back when he was just an NBA player’s son, following his dad Dell Curry around to different arenas. However, it quickly gets to the action of Chef Curry crossing over defenders, making insanely creative passes and sinking unbelievable step back shots.
He also helped his Warriors move on to the Western Conference Finals after hoisting his MVP trophies. This man is a gift, and we definitely expect him to be name-checked in a lot more NBA songs in the future.
