Tory Lanez has been quite generous to fans as he works his way towards his debut album. Despite signing with a major label (Interscope), he hasn't slowed down on his Fargo Friday weekly releases, or free content in general (remember he dropped two mixtapes in December?).
Cashmere Cat Feat. Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande is currently touring in support of her album My Everything with her "Honeymoon Tour." During one of the performances the other night, the singer previewed a collaboration with buzzing producer Cashmere Cat.
Party Girls (Lunice Remix)
It may be over a year since Ludacris released his Ludaversal single "Party Girls" with Cashmere Cat, Wiz Khalifa and Jeremih, but the song is about to get back in your rotation thanks to three different remixes from buzzing producers. Southern Hospitality enlisted Lunice, Brodinski and Sinjin Hawke for three separate remixes of the Aqua-inspired song.
Drop That Kitty
Ty Dolla $ign Feat. Tinashe & Charli XCX
Still riding the success wave of his latest hit “Stand For”, Ty Dolla $ign returns today with his newest offering called “Drop That Kitty” featuring Tinashe & Charle XCX.
Cashmere Cat Feat. DJ Mustard
Cashmere Cat is a Norwegian producer, who you may have seen once or twice on the site this past year as he contributed to Ludacris' "Party Girls" single, among a few other notable hip-hop releases. He closes the gap between electronic production and hip-hop production further today, as we get an instrumental collaboration he did with DJ Mustard.
Benzel Feat. Juicy J & Cashmere Cat
According to their Soundcloud, Benzel are a duo originally hailing from Osaka, Japan. The two, Umi Takahashi and Yoko Watanabe met online and quickly connected on multiple levels; their love for J. Dilla and their love for socks. [Edit: Then again, Benzel could just be two dudes, producers Two Inch Punch and Benny Blanco...] They managed to nab Juicy J for their latest drop, "Four," which is off their upcoming Men EP, but they did it. They've also got Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat on the melancholic "Four."
Save My Soul
We last heard from Justine Skye this past August when she teamed up with DJ Mustard and Tyga for "Collide." A radio-friendly hit that drew easy comparisons to Tinashe, the track was readily acclaimed by our readership, who praised Skye's vocal abilities and songwriting. While that track never quite picked up steam at radio, "Save My Soul" may just be the one that hits home. Co-produced by Cashmere Cat (Ludacris' "Party Girls") and John Glass (Chris Brown's "Home"), the song is just unique enough for Skye to carve herself a distinct sound from without compromising mainstream appear.
Kid Ink Feat. Usher & Tinashe
Yesterday, Kid Ink gave us a preview of his news single by posting a snippet on his Instagram account, and today we've gotten the full version. "Body Language" features Usher and Tinashe and was co-produced by Cashmere Cat and Stargate.
Ludacris Feat. Jeremih, Wiz Khalifa & Cashmere Cat
Where has Ludacris been? We haven't really heard from since his IDGAF mixtape, apart from a random remix here and there. His Ludaversal has long been delayed, but today he finally makes a return with a brand new single, perhaps something leading us to the album? We'll have to wait and see on that front.
