Vallejo sensation Nef the Pharaoh just dropped off his debut self-titled EP on E-40's Sick Wid It Records. The release included Nef's breakout hit, "Big Tymin," as well as the YG and Ty Dolla $ign remix. Each of the EP's 7 tracks is worth talking about, as Nef explores a wide variety of different sounds without sacrificing any of the project's cohesiveness or its pulsing energy.

City Shawn made his HNHH debut in August with "Keep Goin," and he's now back with another strong record, "Gawd Like," produced by the mean duo of Cardo and Vybe. The track is off Shawn's new album, Forever 2, which drops tomorrow (Oct. 30).
  • Just A Rider
    Just A Rider
We got snippets of 7 new songs from PartyNextDoor last night as he was the special guest on episode 7 of OVO Sound Radio. "Codeine Bumpin'" was an immediate favorite, though "Just a Rider" is a track that has more crossover appeal and has the potential to be a big hit for Party.
  • When I See Ya

Earlier today, Ty Dolla $ign gave his long-awaited debut album, Free TC, a release date of November 13, and to coincide with the announcement, he's dropped a brand new single, "When I See Ya," featuring Fetty Wap. The new track was just premiered by Ebro on Beats 1 radio.

Lil Uzi Vert recently got a co-sign from trendsetter 40 Oz Van, so you know it's real. 40 Oz listed the rapper as one of the many underground artists he's listening to at the moment.
  • DA LyFE

fR€$H, SHORT DaWG, Drank Sinatra, elvisfReShley-- the Houston rapper may not be decisive on a name, but he's definitely consistent in breezy, lean-induced rap he's been perfecting over the years. His latest project finds him linking with Wiz Khalifa collaborators Cardo and Sledgren for an entire project, and it's as beautiful as it sounds.
  • 1996
Need a beat? Producers and frequent collaborators Sledgren and Cardo have cooked up beat in synth heaven for all the would-be rappers in need of something hot to rhyme over (although admittedly it is not available for free download).

Out of nowhere, King Louie decided to surprise fans tonight and release the third installment in his Drilluminati mixtape series. Dubbed God Of Drill, the project contains 16 tracks and features from PartyNextDoor, Fetty Wap, Dreezy, and more.
  • Stay Down Till You Come Up
Stay Down Till You Come Up
Don Cannon just sent us a new instrumental for all you rising artists on the site fiending beats. The DJ and producer teamed up with few of the hottest producers right now, namely, Childish Major, Metro Boomin, Cardo and Lyle Leduff for "Stay Down Till You Come Up." It's a super-collaboration "just because we can," according to Don. No artists are featured on the over-six-minutes-long instrumental, but whom might you imagine hopping on this spacey, cloud-rap beat? Or are you feeling it so much you don't think it needs a feature? Let us know what you think.
  • Cop Cars
    Cop Cars
fR€$H aka SHORT DaWG hit us with a huge track back in September, teaming with his frequent collaborator, Ab-Soul, as well as the increasingly impressive Mac Miller for the dark party record, "10 Pints". The Houston rapper returns today with yet another banger, grabbing a big instrumental from Cardo, who -- along with Sledgren -- will produce the entirety of his upcoming DRANK SiNATRA & The Scripts project.
  • White Girl (Remix)
    White Girl (Remix)
Shy Glizzy nabbed an appropriate counterpart for the remix of his "White Girl" record, Coke Boy himself Lil Durk. Durk is fresh off the release of his own single, "Jealous," and adds a little bit more energy to Shy's slurred-up flow on "White Girl." Cardo, of course, has to be given props for creating the smooth yet distinctly-Cardo beat.
  • Keep It G Pt II
    Keep It G Pt II
Joey Fatts returned last night with Chipper Jones Vol. 3, a follow up to last year's Chipper Jones Vol. 2. Chipper Jones Vol. 3 recruits many familiar faces from Volume 2, including A$AP Rocky on the smooth Cardo-produced "Keep It G Pt II." Rocky appeared on "Choppa" on the last tape (alongside Danny Brown), while Vince Staples and A$ton Matthews also appeared on Vol.
  • Seen It All
    Seen It All
After announcing that his fifth studio album, Seen It All, would be dropping on September 2nd, Jeezy wastes little time in releasing the follow up to his first single "Me OK". Kicking the album campaign up a notch, Jeezy calls on his old friend & collaborator, Jay Z, for the album's title track "Seen It All".

Curren$y seems to have welcomed fellow dolla sign rapper Le$ into the close-knit Jet Life circle.
  • Fo
Curren$y has been steadily delivering new material since he dropped his pivotal Pilot Talk album in 2010. The yacht rock haze of that project has colored almost all of his material since, making him somewhat of an auteur of sepia-toned smoke jams.  His newest effort, The Drive In Theatre is no exception, though he's since switched out Ski Beats for the equally lush work of Cardo, who provides the instrumental for "Fo" as well as a few other cuts from the tape.
  • Know No Better (CDQ)
    Know No Better (CDQ)
Late last night we received a tagged up version (not to mention clean version) of a new Meek Mill and Yo Gotti collaboration "Know No Better" from Funkmaster Flex. Thankfully, just a day later, we've been blessed with both the CDQ and dirty version of the Cardo-produced joint.
  • Know No Better
    Know No Better
After collaborating on the tracks "Fuck You" and "LeBron James" last year, street rapper’s Meek Mill and Yo Gotti link up once again for this new cut titled "Know No Better". This heavy bass-track is produced by Cardo, and is just a preview of what’s to come from the Philly rapper later this year with his sophomore album dropping.

While the majority of GLC's new mixtape Ism Churchill is produced by Mr. Live, this particular track finds GLC connecting with Cardo as he spreads the word of the Ism. You can cop the full mixtape here. Quotable Lyrics

  • Bottle
Give Bottle (Prod. by Cardo) a listen - it's a new offering from Tuki Carter. It was dropped on Wednesday, September 18th, 2013. Tuki Carter's musical situation is improving with every new release, and Bottle (Prod. by Cardo) will most definitely help the cause. It's a fine addition to the growing body of work Tuki Carter has been developing since stepping foot in the game. We're looking forward to what Tuki Carter has in store.
