The anticipation is high for Cardi B's next album. The success of Invasion Of Privacy adds pressure to the release, especially since she's been teasing a follow-up for nearly a year at this point. Of course, the coronavirus pandemic has put release dates on hold until proper roll outs -- with press runs and tours booked -- can take place. Cardi's admitted that the pandemic is holding up the release of new music but that doesn't mean she isn't giving fans a sneak peak at what she's been cooking up.

With Mother's Day taking place over the weekend, Cardi Br recently took to her Instagram Story where she shared a snippet of a song that she wrote for her daughter, Kulture. Flexing her vocal chops on the hook, it sounds like it was meant to be the titular track on her debut album detailing her pregnancy.

In related news, new reports emerged revealing another factor in what could be playing into the hold up on Cardi B's next album. Reports claim that she's currently in the midst of renegotiating her deal, though there hasn't been any clear details surrounding the specifics of the negotiations. Either way, we assume that once she's ready, she'll drop an album and hopefully, follow it up with an actual tour.
