Captain Marvel has finally arrived.

There's only one hero left to see before the Avengers take their second swing at defeating Thanos. Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, is set to touch down as the MCU's most powerful hero next Spring. Played by Brie Larson, Captain Marvel is an integral part of the Avengers, and will likely carry the "Captain" leadership role long after Chris Evans departs. Larson was featured on the cover of EW this month, which made speculative fans believe a trailer for the 21st MCU film was coming soon.

Those fans have been proven correct by the internet. First, a press release from Disney owned ABC was leaked online that highlights Larson as a guest for next week's Good Morning America. Then, MCU News tweeted out an official release date for the upcoming trailer. "Disney has confirmed that actress @brielarson will be appearing on @GMA this Tuesday for CAPTAIN MARVEL, during which she will reveal the first trailer for the film," reads the tweet. Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, Lashana Lynch, Clark Gregg, and Gemma Chan. It hits theaters on March 8, 2019, just a month and a half before Avengers 4.
