Steez Day Line-Up Includes Pro Era, ASAP Mob, Danny Brown & More
The other week, Joey Bada$$ revealed that the annual Steez Day, a music festival honoring his late Pro Era member Capital Steez, would be relocating from Brooklyn to L.A. this year. We didn't have the line-up at that time, but with tickets going on sale tomorrow at Noon, Joey has just unveiled the artists this morning.
Pro Era's Steez Day Festival Is Moving To The West Coast This Year
Despite being a New Yorker to the core, Joey Bada$$ is heading west for a less muggy climate. Specifically, he’s moving his Steez Day Festival, which debuted at Central Park’s Summer Stage in 2015, to the west coast. The inaugural Steez Day Festival featured Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, Smoke DZA, A$AP Ferg and more, all gathering for the purpose of raising money for Steez’s family.

UPDATE: And just like that, Troy Ave has responded with a lengthy Instagram post of his own as well as a meme that shows Joey photoshopped into a poster for the film "Revenge of the Nerds." The meme is a reference to a line on Troy's new diss track, "Bad Ass": "If it really was the '90s, you'll be titled as a herb / If ya movie was biography, 'Revenge of the Nerds.'"
