23-year-old Caleborate is one of the most refreshing voices emerging from the Bay Area's hip hop scene. Three weeks ago, he released 1993 a 14-track album that combines nostalgic for simpler times with reflections on modern life. Today, he continues his ascent with a new release, "Good Great," in an HNHH premiere.
Produced by Kuya, "Good Great" is an update on Caleborate's mind state that shouldn't come as any great surprise for anyone who listened to Hella Good. In this case, he speaks directly to his mother. "I do that sometimes in my music," Caleborate told HNHH. "It's a sort of reassurance that I know what i'm doing and I know what it's going to take for me to be successful at the dream I'm chasing."
