NBA teams across the league will officially unveil new "City Edition" uniforms for this season in early November, but select jerseys have already leaked online. For instance, the Los Angeles Lakers new uniforms pay tribute to Magic Johnson and the Minnesota Timberwolves' new threads are inspired by Prince's "Purple Rain" album.
The latest City Edition uniforms to leak are those of the Brooklyn Nets, and you'll notice that they honor the late Biggie Smalls with a Coogi-inspired trim as a nod to the Brooklyn rapper's iconic sweaters.
It's unknown how many games the Nets will be wearing the Biggie-themed uniforms this season but we expect to learn more when the jerseys are officially unveiled in the coming weeks.
