Boosie Badazz was sued last year by Mississippi mall security guard, Glen Kerley, for assault and battery. However, Kerley is now facing a lawsuit from Boosie for costing the rapper work with his allegations.
According to The Blast, Boosie recently filed a lawsuit against Glen Kerley after Kerley accused the rapper of assault and battery from an alleged altercation that occurred on April 9th, 2017. The rapper claims Kerley sued him without reasonable grounds to do so. Boosie referred to Kerley's lawsuit as an abuse of the legal process and claims it was filed with “malice and/or without probable cause." Now, Boosie claims the guard's lawsuit came in the way of possible business deals and claims he lost income due to Kerley's lawsuit.
In the original suit, Kerley claims he tried to escort Boosie and his friends out of the mall after he kicked them out when they tried to enter the store. He alleged Boosie and his clique were refusing to leave and became aggressive. Kerley claims Boosie tried to instigate a fight with him but the security guard pepper sprayed the rapper. Although Kerley claims Boosie's crew began to punch him repeatedly afterward, he claims he didn't fight back. Kerley claims that was taken to the hospital after he was dragged across the cement during the attack.
Boosie was the first to take legal action when he sued Dillard's department store, the Edgewater Mall and the Biloxi Police Department. Boosie claimed an officer made yelled racial slurs towards him and his family before he pepper sprayed him. The city of Biloxi demanded his suit be thrown out after they denied allegations.
Kerley sued Boosie for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, civil conspiracy and negligence.
