Boogie - Let Me Rap
Check out "Let Me Rap," a highlight from Boogie's new "Thirst 48" tape.
Today we premiered Long Beach, CA rapper Boogie's new mixtape, Thirst 48, and among many great tracks is "Let Me Rap." Beginning by saying "I love you women, but I hate you bitches," Boogie then unwinds by letting his troubles out over a groovy, smooth beat.
There are some poignant bars about a girl up on Instagram, who "think she global, but she forever local," with Boogie spouting off some wisdom about social media. The track's production is uncredited, but stellar, with a subtle bassline, a saxophone and a keyboard lick providing spacious territory for Boogie's venting.
