Muir Beach, California rapper Bones is one of the most prolific independent recording artists bar none. The spitter/producer, who refuses to go commercial -- just released a new mixtape -- Disgrace -- through his collective TeamSESH. He's released more than 40 projects so far.
Known for his moody music, Bones has worked with A$AP Rocky and performed with him on Jimmy Kimmel Live! crouching for most of the performance. Disgrace is a descent into his underworld-like beats, full of heavy bass and high ominous keys. "Fuck what you heard unless you heard it from me," he sings on "BiggestLetdown." The rapper inspires to live through his art authentically without the trappings of fame or excess.
