So Will Smith has been rumored to be working with both Drake and Kanye West, but, today, he has officially broken his musical hiatus by adding a verse to a song by...Colombian band Bomba Estério? Interesting choice.
Apparently Smith discovered Bomba Estério while on a recent trip to Colombia and reached out to the band to see if he could record a remix. "This opportunity to work with Will was beyond anything we have dreamed of...It's just magic," band member Simon Mejia told Rolling Stone.
The song starts off like a traditional Colombian song, but then transforms into an EDM tune. That's where Smith comes in. His first lines: "Hola mamacita, go get me a beer-a." It doesn't get much better from there...
We'll look forward to those aforementioned collabs with some reservations.
