Fat Raps (Remix)
Big Sean Feat. Chuck Inglish, Asher Roth, King Chip, Dom Kennedy & Boldy James
When Big Sean was coming up his mixtape grind was on point. He dropped three instalments in his Finally Famous series, with the third and final arriving in 2010. He later followed it up with a debut album of the same name, but that didn't really stack up to the mixtapes so we'll gloss over it.

Boldy James recently announced his signing with the new Nas-helmed label, Mass Appeal records. Before he gives us his official debut for the label, the Detroit rapper will hit us with his mixtape, Trapper's Alley 2. Today, Boldy shares the first record from the project, the unrelenting banger, "Crunchin". We were already expecting big things following the solid, Alchemist produced album, My 1st Chemistry Set, but the new track has set the bar even higher.
Bet That Up
Boldy James Feat. Kevin Gates & Snootie Wild
Boldy James is back today as we approach the release of Trapper's Alley 2. The mixtape is finally due out on Friday, and before that time, he's hitting us with one of the most anticipated collaborations on the project, "Bet That Up." The track is complete with two other street hustlers, Kevin Gates and Snootie Wild, as well as production from GoGrizzly. GoGrizzly is a new collaborator to Boldy, but obviously the two have chemistry as he handled the majority of the production on Trapper's Alley 2.
Detroit Vs. Everybody (Remix)
Trick-Trick Feat. DeJ Loaf, Guilty Simpson, Black Milk, Sino, Marv Won, Payroll, Hydro, Boldy James, Big Gov, Kid Vishis, Big Herk & More
This is a dope look. After Eminem and Shady Records put out the "Detroit Vs. Everybody" record featuring the city's highest-profile rappers, now the label has shared an official remix that gives under-appreciated rappers the spotlight. Helmed by Trick Trick, the new remix features Dej Loaf (who gets a verse of her own this time), Guilty Simpson, Black Milk, Sino, Marv Won, Payroll, Hydro, Boldy James, Big Gov, Kid Vishis, Big Herk, Icewear Vezzo, Detroit Che, Calicoe & Diezel the Hitman.
Same Damn Thang
Ghostface Killah, Boldy James & Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire
There are a ton of dope tracks in the “Rubble Kings” documentary by Adult Swim and Mass Appeal, and we're highlighting one of our favorites. The three spitters each take a turn on the mic, going in on Little Shalimar’s moody, stuttering production. No fancy stuff either, just straight up lyricism from each emcee.
Boldy James Feat. JMSN
Long-time fans of JMSN might recall that the artist used to go by Christian TV, and when he was using that name, he put out a track called "Girl I Used To Know" featuring a little-known Detroit rapper Boldy James. The two Detroit natives finally re-connect on Boldy's new mixtape Trapper's Alley 2, which we just premiered this afternoon. Their collaboration is a stand-out record from the mixtape, and caps off the project's 20 tracks.

No Hate In My Blood
Boldy James Feat. Peechie Green
Detroit rapper Boldy James has experienced a recent popularity boost, thanks to a Nas co-sign and resulting contract with his new Mass Appeal imprint. Today, he and Peechie Green deliver a new version of Jim Jones, Future and Young Scooter's "Way The Game Goes," entitled "No Hate In My Blood." Retaining the original track's KE On The Track beat, this track is a bit of a change up for Boldy James, as he's more accustomed to working with beats by The Alchemist, J Dilla and Chuck Inglish, none of whom have ever made a song as trappy as "Way The Game Goes."
50 Foot Razor Blade
Boldy James Feat. Peechie Green
Boldy James is prepping a follow up to his extremely dope yet overlooked debut mixtape Trapper's Alley: Pros And Cons. Before Trapper's Alley 2 arrives, we highly recommend getting familiar with the first Trapper's Alley here. Since he dropped that, his name has gained a bit more weight, as he inked a deal with the Nas-helmed Mass Appeal record label.
In My Zone
We know a lot of you are still sleeping on my dude Boldy James. We're hoping to change that by the time we premiere his new mixtape, Trapper's Alley 2, on February 27th. We recently had Boldy in an episode of On The Come Up, which hopefully shed some light on the Detroit native for a few potential fans, and today we're continuing the lesson with a new leak.

Willie The Kid Feat. S-Class Sonny & Boldy James
The last we heard from Willie The Kid was "Avalon", a Roc Marciano-assisted track which used the same sample as Dr. Dre's iconic single, "The Next Episode".His new track, which collects verses from S-Class Sonny and Boldy James is a similarly hazy affair, built off of another dusty sample, and carried by the charisma of the rappers involved.
